Jan Broberg Felt Life

Jan Broberg Felt (née Broberg, 1962) is an American actress, singer, and dancer.

She is known for being kidnapped twice before she was 14 years old and fourteen.

The experience has been chronicled in Mary Ann Broberg's book Stolen Innocence: The Jan Broberg Family's Story and the documentary Unknown in Plain Sight.

Early life

Broberg was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on July 31, 1962, to Robert "Bob" Broberg and Mary Ann Broberg. She was the couple's first child, and Karen and Susan followed her.

Personal life

When Broberg was twelve years old and again when she was fourteen, she was kidnapped by Robert Berchtold, a family friend who had sexual relations with both parents. Stolen Innocence: The Jan Broberg Story, a strongly edited book that denied her father's sexual involvement with the perpetrator, was published on October 30, 2003 by she and her mother Mary Ann. In Plain Sight, Broberg's tale was included in the true crime film Abducted. It was released in January 2019 and was shot and produced over a three-year cycle. Robert Berchtold died of suicide in 2005.

She has a son from her previous marriage.
