Woods attended Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois, and Northern Illinois University. She is married to John Lind (an assistant producer), who she met on the set of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show. They were married in 1999. Natalie, Emily, and Alyvia, three children, are all film and television actresses.
Career
Woods has been acting professionally since 1988. Deborah "Deb" Scott is the WB/CW teen drama series One Tree Hill, and she is best known for portraying her. She appeared on the show from 2003 to 2009 and was on the final season in 2012. She debuted in season 1 and was promoted to full series regular status in the November sweeps. She appeared in four episodes of season 5 but then returned as a series regular in season 6.
