Jamie Yeo (born 17 April 1977) is a television presenter, actor, radio DJ, and model.

Early life

Yeo was born in Singapore on April 17, 1977. She attended Fairfield Methodist Primary School and Nanyang Girls' High School before moving to Dayton, Ohio, where her father was posted as an engineer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. (RSAF).

She completed her secondary school education at Dayton Christian High School. After returning to Singapore, she enrolled in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and studied mass communications because her diploma from Singapore was not recognized in Singapore, so she was unable to enroll her A Level at a junior college. She earned her diploma from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1998.

Personal life

Yeo began dating Glenn Ong in 2001 and the couple married in New Creation Church three years later in 2004, but the couple separated in early 2009.

Yeo married Thorsten Nolte, a British immigrant in Singapore, in 2010, and the couple had a child. Nevertheless, they separated in February 2015. Alysia's mother, Alysia, was born in April 2016.

In June 2017, she revealed to the public that she was marrying in Singapore, Rupert, for the third time and that she was five months pregnant with a baby boy. Luke's son, Luke, was born on September 29, 2017.

Yeo announced in November 2021 that she and her family are heading to the United Kingdom in order to spend more time with Rupert's parents.

Professional career

Yeo started out as an actress portraying Tammy in the television series Growing Up, which is unquestionably the role that made her famous. Holland V and Baby Boom, a Mandarin-language film, has also appeared in MediaCorp Ch8's "windows" series.

Yeo left acting to pursue a radio career. She appeared on RadioCorp Radio's 987FM from 2000 to 2006.

Jamie joined ESPN in 2005 and became the face of shows like "Nokia Football Crazy" and "Football Extra." "Football Crazy" was renamed "Castrol Football Crazy" in 2009, but it went off air in 2010.

Jamie said that Arsenal F.C. was her favorite football team in an interview with TheSportsCampus.com in 2009. Thierry Henry, her all-time favorite player.

In Asia, she is best known for co-hosting the ESPN/Star Sports "Castrol Football Crazy" and "Maxis Football Extra" television shows.

On Singapore's station Power98FM, Yeo returned to radio with SAFRA Radio in 2012.

Jamie McDonald, a Gold 905FM radio DJ, returned to Mediacorp in 2015. She took over "The Homestretch" on drive-time in March 2016.

On Insider TV, Yeo is also the host of the travel and lifestyle show "Inside Singapore."
