On May 10, 2010, at least two social media pages, GossipBoy.com and reddit.com, published video embeds. It was embedded on ryanseacrest.com, a website that aims to track and forecast emerging viral internet memes that was published on BuzzFeed.com. TVGuide, The Huffington Post, and Yahoo! Video Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga's music blog embedded the video; TVGuide reported that a Facebook fan page for Chance had already been established. Later that evening, Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres posted the video on their Twitter pages, as did actress Ashton Kutcher later that evening.
