David Belle Career

Life and career

Belle was born and raised in Fécamp, the son of Monique and Raymond Belle de Paris. Gilbert Kitten, father Raymond, and brother Jean-François Belle were all highly trained rescuers in the Military Paris Fire Brigade. Raymond Belle's father, who was of French-Vietnamese descent, was from Vietnam, while his mother, Monique Kitten, was of French and English origins.

When David Belle's grandfather, Gilbert, was living in Normandy, he began developing parkour. Belle moved to Lisses, France, in 1984 at the age of 11. He began training with a group of teenagers with similar physical disabilities, adapting the techniques he learned in Normandy to a city setting. Some of David's friends would later be identified as the Yamakasi. Belle spent time in the military and fire brigade with aspirations of following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps later in life. David left soon after for personal reasons, as he found that the military's regimented life was antithetical to his character. During his time in the Marines, he set a Regimental record for rope climbing (which had previously been held by his father, Raymond) and was given a certificate of honor for his gymnastic skills.

He worked in various occupations, including a factory worker, security guard, and furniture salesman after finishing his national service. He also spent three months in India studying kung fu. He continued his training in parkour and shot a video of his abilities, which he later turned into the famous Speed Air Man video. In 1997, the Stade 2 team received a video of Belle and decided to film the first news broadcast starring him and the Yamakasi.

For the first time in connection with the team, the term Yamakasi was used in filming this news series. Belle did not accept the name and felt that it did not give credit to his father, so he resigned from the company after the event. Belle later this year will begin to educate other students who have given themselves the nickname 'tracer.' The spelling was later changed to 'traceur,' and has since been used to describe a parkour practitioner.

Belle was first introduced to his acting career in a meeting with Hubert Koundé (La Haine), in order to address parkour's film's longevity. He began experimenting with Pygmalion's role development, and has since gone on to land a number of roles in French films and television promotions. Belle has appeared in promotional videos for Tina Turner and Iam. He has appeared in "Les gens du voyages" and "Un monde meilleur," "L'Engravages" and "Femme Fatale," as well as "Les rivières pourpres 2" starring Jean Reno. Belle was contacted by Luc Besson (director of Nikita and The Fifth Element) regarding co-starring Cyril Raffaelli in the action film District 13, which was followed by the sequel District 13: Ultimatum. Belle co-starred in Brick Mansions (2014), a reboot of District 13.

Retail chief sparks row over placement of Union Flag on New Zealand lamb

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 20, 2023
In a photograph of a pack of lamb kebabs (left), Steve Dresser, CEO of management consulting firm Grocery Insight, posted a snapshot of a pack of lamb kebabs (right) accusing the German company of a "strategic use of the flag so it seems almost British.' His argument was backed by a number of followers, with some of them accusing Lidl of a 'dreadful' effort to mislead' British customers. Nevertheless, some Twitter followers pointed out that the packaging accurately reproduced the New Zealand flag as it appears in real life (right).
