Career
Cruz Martnez's love for music began at the age of twelve as he learned to play the piano with the help of one of his uncles. Martnez began making music and programming computers in the family's studio by the age of 16. Cruz had received his first Grammy nomination by age sixteen. He was a member of La Sombra, a Tejano band. A.B. In 1999, Quintanilla formed Los Kumbia Kings, which Cruz Martnez would co-write and co-produce songs.
