Early life

Santos was born in 1981 in Bronx, New York City, to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. Sus Huellas' first single was released on Valentine's Day, 2022. Santos appeared on NBC's Today on July 22, 2022, as part of the Citi Summer Concert Series. He said he planned to release the album on September 1, 2022, which is on his firstborn son's birthday. He didn't announce that it would be the official announcement date, but that he was working on it. On August 15th, 2022, he teased a teaser and announced that the official launch date was going to be on the date he had mentioned at the concert series.
