Career

Kim Tae-ho began his acting career after winning the grand prize in the KBS reality talent show Survival Star Audition in 2006. Choi Jin-hyuk began using the stage name Choi Jin-hyuk in 2010, before the airing of his family drama It's Okay, Daddy's Girl, in which he was cast in his first leading role. He has appeared in the romantic comedies I Need Romance (2011), Miss Panda (2012), and Mr. Hedgehog (2012). In the romance film Love Clinique, Choi made his big-screen debut.

After a well-received appearance on the fantasy-period drama Gu Family Book, his breakout came in 2013. Choi appeared in two high-profile projects: writer Kim Eun-sook's trendy drama The Heirs and action film The Divine Move followed him. In the short film Beginning of a Dream, Jung Woo-sung also directed him. (Choi had joined Jung's company Red Brick House).

He headlined his first miniseries, the cable romantic comedy/medical drama Emergency Couple, in 2014. Choi was later returned to television as a supporting actor in You Are My Destiny, a retelling of the 2008 Taiwanese story. Pride and Prejudice, another leading role, will be followed by the legal drama. He appeared in a minor role in the Japanese film Koisuru Vampire ("Vampire in Love") (inside).

Choi went on a suspension from acting after being enlisted for mandatory military service on March 31, 2015. He had the opportunity to join the Seoul Police Promotional Team, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's theater unit, but decided not to serve as an active duty soldier. He was discharged from the army after seven months due to a knee injury.

Choi returned to China with the crime thriller Tunnel, which was a hit. He was cast in the romantic comedy drama Devilish Charm and The Last Empress in 2018 and the mystery thriller series The Last Empress.

Choi was cast in the thriller film Justice in 2019.

Choi appeared in the science fiction action drama Rugal and Zombie Detective in 2020. Mr. Queen was also a special guest on TVN's smash-hit drama Mr. Queen as an arrogant and flirty chef whose soul was trapped in Shin Hye-sun's body during the Joseon period. For the first seven episodes, he also contributed to Shin Hye-sun's inner thought.
