In a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning , the Academy Award-nominated actress revealed that she still doesn't have much of a relationship with the musician and actor, but then suggested that there may be some thawing to their icy past history. 'I don't really have one,' the Almost Famous star began, when asked if she had any kind of relationship with her father, but she did offer up the slightest bit of hope by clarifying that 'it's warming up.' She added with hesitation, 'There's warming up with this all happening. But it'll be whatever it will be, you know. I have - I have no expectation of that with my father, you know. I just want him to be happy.' The Los Angeles native was just 18-months old when her mother, Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn , split from her father in 1980, leading to their divorce.
