Early life and Career
Egli hails from an Austrian-Swiss butcher family and has been singing since the age of nine. She began taking singing lessons and performing at folk festivals at 14 years old. Egli formed Sag mir wo wohnen die Engel in 2007, and together with Lys Assia, a well-known artist, the album was released. The album's title track became a official single. They were invited to the Grand Prix der Volksmusik (a grand prix competition for folk music) in April 2007, finishing 12th and 16th in August 2007.
