Armen Gondrachyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, on August 8, 1980 (then part of the Soviet Union). Armen began performing at a young age. In 1989, his family immigrated to California, where a significant number of Armenian Americans live. Armen & Nor Seround, Armen's first album, was achieved with the help of his father, Hapet.
