Alex Bueno (born 6 September 1963) is a Dominican singer and guitarist who specializes in merengue and bachata music. * He joined Gerardo Vera's All-Stars in 1979 and 1982 and founded Orquesta Liberación. As a youth, he moved from San José de Las Matas to Santo Domingo, eager to get involved in show business. Bueno joined Gerardo Vera's All-Stars in 1979, and Fernando Villalona's "Piel Canela" became their first hit in local history. * Alex Bueno founded Orquesta Liberación in 1982, performing with Andrés de Jesus.
