Personal life
Sujatha Mohan is the granddaughter of Parur T. K. Narayana Pillai, the first Chief Minister of the erstwhile Travancore-Cochin State after India gained Independence. When she was two years old, her father, Dr. Vijayendran, died. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Economics from St. Teresa's College in Ernakulam. On May 9, 1981, she married Dr. V. Krishna Mohan. Shweta Mohan, her only daughter, is also a singer. Radhika Thilak and G. Venugopal are her cousins.
Career
Baby Sujatha, the schoolgirl who used to perform with K. J. Yesudas in his stage, came to fame in the seventies. Yesudas, a sex girl who used to perform with K. J.
