Akshaye Khanna (born 28 March 1975) is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films.
He has received two Filmfare Awards and is the son of late actor Vinod Khanna.
Khanna made his acting debut in Bollywood in 1997 with the film Himalaya Putra after studying at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai.
Border (1997) was a critical and commercial hit, earning him the Filmfare Best Debut Award and a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Career
Khanna made his acting debut with Pankaj Parashar's romantic drama Himalaya Putra (1997), co-starring his father, Vinod, Satish Shah, Johny Lever, Danny Denzongpa, and Amrish Puri. Despite mostly positive reviews, his performance earned him the Best Male Debut award, but the film failed at the box office, but it still didn't do well.
Khanna appeared in J. P. Dutta's war drama Border, alongside Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and Jackie Shroff later this year. The film, set during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, featured Khanna in the true life of the Battle of Longewala, where the commander was also a participant.
