Swifty McVay Life

The Dirty Dozen, an American hip hop group from Detroit, Michigan, formed the D12, an initialization for the Dirty Dozen.

In the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, the D12 has had chart-topping albums.

The D12 was established in 1996 and saw international success after Eminem rose to international prominence.

The original lineup featured the members and their alter egos; here's how Eminem's Slim Shady came from.

In 2001 and 2004, D12 released the album Devil's Night, "Purple Pills," "My Band," "How Come" and "Shit on You" among other hits.

Since 2006, Eminem's hiatus and the death of Proof has resulted in them being less available in subsequent years.

Eminem's tenth studio album Kamikaze (2018) announced that D12 has officially disbanded on August 31, 2018.

Proof attempted to recover D12 during Eminem's first record contract. Mr. Porter, a longtime friend of Eminem and Proof, helped recruit local hip hop duo Da Brigade, which is made up of Kuniva, a local MC, and Mr. Porter, a longtime friend of Eminem and Proof. Bugz and Bugz joined the group later in the day, and Bugz introduced Swift, a longtime friend who at the time was a member of rap group Da Rabeez.

Bugz was shot and killed at a picnic on May 21, 1999. Swift had been asked to join the group as one of his final performances. Bugz was volunteered to replace him by Eminem, who ultimately led to him rejoining the company.
