Shawn Harris (born June 24, 1982) was the lead singer and guitarist for The Matches, a pop punk band. * He is an artist and has produced several albums, including Matchbook Romance's Voices and Bayside's Shudder. * He was born in Berkeley, California, and attended Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland. * He is a strict vegan and has appeared on PETA's YouTube channel to explain why he chose this diet. * He has stated many times that his aim in music is to write the best song ever, and he believes that Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is the best song ever written.
