Gabet is best known for her appearance on The Edge of Night, which was broadcast on ABC in 1977 and 1984, in which she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Brittany Peterson on Another World (1985-1977), and Melinda Cramer on One Life to Live (1987–1989). In 1982, she appeared on "The Man in the Iron Shorts/The Victims/Beavens to Betsy."
