On Hay Bluff, near the town of Hay-on-Wye, walkers found yet another mysterious shiny silver structure. It was the latest in a string of strange structures to pop up on a beach in the Isle of Wight, at the top of Glastonbury Tor, and in the middle of the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall and in the fields of Dartmoor National Park. The appearances, ranging from 2020 to last weekend, have sparked a lot of rumors about who has put them there and why, with others even questioning whether or not the objects are of extraterrestrial origins. Craig Muir, a local builder, who discovered the 10ft monolith sticking out of the mud, said he mistook it for'some sort of a UFO' while out walking.
