Career
Clarke began her acting career with a 1999 Volkswagen award-winning commercial. She continued on with a role in the 2000 short film Pas de deux and received an Outstanding Achievement award at the Brooklyn Film Festival. Clarke's career burgeoned after a brief appearance in films Including All About George and The Accident in 2001, as well as television shows such as Ed and Sex and the City.
Clarke auditioned for the role of Counter Terrorist Unit agent Nina Myers on January 24, 2001. On the day when filming began, she landed the role. Since the costume department didn't have time to dress her, she had to wear her own clothing for the entire season of filming. Clarke appeared in a total of 36 episodes during her three seasons on the show. Clarke received the Golden Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series for this role.
