OJ Simpson murder trial witness Brian 'Kato' Kaelin has revealed Barbara Walters' reaction when the NFL star was found not guilty in his 1995 murder trial. Kaelin, 65, found fast fame for his role as Simpson's houseguest amid the international publicity surrounding the murders of Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, followed by the infamous low-speed chase and subsequent double murder trial, which he was a witness in.

OJ Simpson's brain will not be donated for CTE research, family spokesperson says - with killer set to be cremated in Las Vegas Tuesday

OJ Simpson's brain will not be donated for research, according to a family spokesperson.  The body of the killer and former NFL player - who died Wednesday at the age of 76 - is now set to be cremated in Las Vegas on Tuesday, a representative for his estate said. There have been repeated requests by scientists for ex-running back Simpson's brain to be donated for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) research, but the family have reportedly refused with a 'hard no'.

How OJ's defense team played the race card and won: Defense team weaponized Rodney King riots to help get him acquitted and honed in on racist cops at heart of investigation

Many African Americans remember the triumphant cheers as OJ Simpson's historic not-guilty verdict was read out on October 3, 1995. For the case, as one commentator wrote at the time, was no longer about the slit throats of Nicole Brown Simpsons and Ronald Goldman. It was about race. And, so it has been argued, it was Simpson's 'dream team' of defense lawyers who made it so. Faced with overwhelming evidence suggesting the football star murdered his ex-wife and friend, they put America and its history of institutional racism on the stand instead.
