Felipe VI (Spanish: [felipe sto]; Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos de Santos de Borbón y Grecia, born 30 January 1968) is the King of Spain. He is the son of former King Juan Carlos I and Queen Soffa, and he has two elder sisters, Infanta Elena, Duchess of Lugo, and Infanta Cristina. Letizia Ortiz, a television news journalist from Argentina, married Leonor (his heir presumptive) and Sofa in 2004. He was born at Our Lady of Loreto Hospital in Madrid, the third child and only son of Infante Juan Carlos and Princess Sofa of Greece and Denmark. The Archbishop of Madrid, Casimiro Morcillo, baptized him on February 8, 1968 at the Palace of Zarzuela, with water from the Jordan River. Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Santos, the full royal name of the Bourbon King of Spain (Felipe V), his grandfathers (Infante Juan of Spain and King Paul of Greece), his great-grandfather King Alfonso XIII of Spain), and Todos los Santos ("of all the Saints") are included in the Bourbon charter, as is customary among the Bourbons. Juan Juan and his paternal grandmother, Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain, were his godparents.
