Roman René Ramrez (born June 11, 1988), also known as Rome Ramirez or simply Rome, is an American singer and guitarist best known for his work with Sublime drummer Eric Wilson.
Early life
Ramirez was born and raised in Fremont, California. Both of his parents are of Mexican origins, with his mother being from Guadala and his father's family from Tijuana, but his father moved the family to Oakland. He started playing guitar at the age of 11, and one of the first songs he learned was a Sublime song.
Ramirez, a 18-year-old boy from Los Angeles, will concentrate fully on music. Eric Wilson, the bassist for Sublime, was introduced to him, one of his idols. At Eric's legendary holiday parties in Long Beach, the two became besties and began jamming together. Sublime's return to form had been initiated within a year.
