Rica Peralejo (born Regina Carla Bautista Peralejo) is a Filipina actress, singer, and television presenter.

She is one of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talent collectively known as Star Magic.

Personal life

Peralejo attended the School of the Holy Spirit in her early years. She graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in AB Literature.

Peralejo is married to Joseph "Joe" Bonifacio, a minister of Every Nation Church. Philip and Manu from her husband Joseph Bonifacio are her children.

Career

Peralejo started off as a kid actor and appeared on ABS-CBN's most popular youth oriented variety show Ang TV. Peralejo appeared in Gimik. She was also cast in the hit horror film!Oka Tokat. She was finally acknowledged when she became a staple in ABS-CBN's teleseryes such as Mula sa Puso, Marinella, Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, Sineserye Presents: Palimos ng Pag-ibig, Sa Piling Mo, and Pangarap na Bituin. She appeared on hit sitcoms Palibhasa Lalake, Oki Doki Doc, and OK Fine Whatever. She also honed her hosting skills as a host for Showbiz No. 1, the showbiz-focused showbiz no. 1. Umagang Kay Ganda is a film series starring Umagang Kay Ganda. In the Philippines' longest-running variety show ASAP, Rica was also praised as a Dancing Queen with her Rated R segment. Through Star Drama Presents: Rica, she has appeared in many episodes of Komiks, Star Magic Presents, Philippine television's longest running drama anthology Maala Mo Kaya, as well as her own mini-anthology. Rica has appeared on 100 Days to Heaven and Ikaw Ikaw, as well as several occasions on It's Showtime. Peralejo hosted Mommy Hacks in 2015.
