Career

Lee appeared in the film Legless for Red Productions and Channel 4, but it was to be his role as gay teenager Josh Jones in the television drama series Hollyoaks in 2005, which was his first appearance. Lee went on to appear in Wired for ITV1, Gemma Factor for BBC Three, and Exhibit A, a comedy drama by Bigger Pictures/Warp Films. Owen Hartbourne, the grandson of Pearl Ladderbanks, appeared on television soap opera Emmerdale (currently off-screen in Hong Kong). Other television work includes an adaptation of Kate Long's The Bad Mothers Handbook, where he played Paul, Holly Grainger's boyfriend, who makes his teenage lover pregnant.

He has made several short films, including the short film "King Ponce," which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007. For Radio 3, including The Birth and Death Of Daylight, The Moment Your Life Stops For BBC Radio 4 and the famous radio detective series Stone with Hugo Spear and Maxine Peak, he has appeared in radio dramas such as The Birth and Death Of Daylight, and The Moment Your Life Stops for BBC Radio 4.

In 2009, Lee appeared in Awaydays, a major motion picture based on Kevin Sampson's book. In Powder, Kevin Sampson's second book to be adapted for the big screen, he also stars James Love. 'The Grams' is a film that has featured 'Live' performances at the V Festival in 2009.

Lee is co-producing with McQueen, a film that he has written and directed. The film has a free budget. Lee Battle, Nico Mirallegro, Linzey Cocker, Marcquelle Ward, and Tina O'Brien appear in this series.
