SIMON JONES: Tottenham winger Manor Solomon is in talks to join Leeds United on loan. The Israel international has been given clearance to leave Spurs after a difficult spell with injuries since joining last summer as a free agent. After featuring in five of the club's opening seven Premier League games under Ange Postecoglou, an injury in early October saw required surgery to the meniscus on his right knee and brought his campaign to a premature end.
Shakhtar Donetsk chief accuses Tottenham of taking advantage of the war in Ukraine to sign Manor Solomon for free, as he claims the Premier League club behaved 'like a robber on the road'

Tottenham have been accused of taking advantage of the war in Ukraine to sign winger Manor Solomon on a free last year. Solomon was contracted to Shakhtar Donetsk until the end of 2023, but FIFA granted permission for non-Ukrainian nationals to suspend their contracts following Russia's invasion, and Spurs swooped in to snap up the Israeli international last July. Shakhtar chief executive Serhiy Palkin is furious with how things played out after his club had to pay £5.1m to buy Solomon in 2019 only to get nothing in return four years later, and hit out at Tottenham's behaviour.
Tottenham SEASON PLAYER RATINGS: Which star made a 'sensational impact' at Spurs? Who was their best performer? And who is on their way OUT after another poor campaign?

MATT BARLOW: There were plenty of ups and several downs, but things were never dull in Ange Postecoglou's first season at Tottenham. Spurs raced out the blocks at the start of the Australian's tenure, rising to the top of the Premier League table following an unbeaten 10-game run. However, things came crashing down in one of the most bizarre and chaotic Premier League games of all-time when they lost 4-1 to Chelsea at the start of November having been reduced to nine men.
