Career
Navarro came to fame in 2014 when he won the second edition of the regional competition for young artists, Catalunya Teen Star, with an acoustic version of "Hold On, We're Going Home" by Drake. He also had a YouTube channel where he would post acoustic covers of songs. Following his win, he was signed to record label TeenStarRecords and debuted his debut single, "Brand New Day," on December 4, 2014. Navarro appeared as the first act on Sweet California's 2015 tour Wonder Tour. Navarro joined Sony Music Spain in 2015, and on June 24, 2016, he unveiled his first single, "Candle," which debuted at number two on Spotify's Viral 50 chart in Spain.
"Do It for Your Lover," Navarro's second single with Sony in January 2017, was released. Navarro was named one of the six candidates to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on January 12th, 2017. "Do It for Your Lover" was among the six candidates. He was proclaimed the winner of the national final in the midst of a lot of controversy, and he represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine, on February 11, 2017. Navarro was voted first in the jury panel's vote but came third in the popular poll in the national final. The controversies arose out of Martez's presence in the jury panel of Los 40 radio host Xavi Martez, who had previously promoted Navarro on his radio show and via Twitter; Martnez was awarded the minimum possible points to Navarro's most direct rival and eventual public vote favorite Mirela. Navarro and Mirela tied in a number of points, and the jury panel selected Navarro as the winner in a tie-break voting round. The audience at the studio was full of boos and rumors of rigging, to which Navarro responded with a bras d'honneur. During a TVE press conference, he would apologise for the gesture two days later. He came from Portugal and placed in last place at the Eurovision Song Contest final: Navarro received no points from the professional jury and only five points from the public televote. During the act, he made a voice crack during which thousands of memes branded him "gallo," a Spanish term that refers both vocal crack and rooster.
"Keep On Falling" was Navarro's sequel on June 2nd.
Since reverting to Universal, Navarro unveiled the single "Voulez-vous tener" on April 27, 2018. "Italian girls are the first to speak out about this."

Cicatriz, Navarro's first studio album, was released on April 23, 2021.
