Music career
He was keen to play many musical instruments, including piano, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, and acoustic guitar, as well as regular singing lessons with professional artists in Málaga and Madrid from a young age. He recorded his first songs, "Amor de Barrio" (Neighbourhood Love) and "Desencuentro"), which would be released ten years later on his debut album, in 2002. In Málaga, he appeared with a Flamenco band in a restaurant for the first time, and El Blanco Moreno (The White Moreno) was named after him because he "was very pale-skinned and Moreno was my family name," he said in an interview in early 2011. Pablo Illán later met with producer Manuel Illán and recorded a demo that featured Diana Navarro's cover of "Deja de Volverme Loca" (Stop Driving Me Crazy). Navarro expressed a great interest in Alborán and became his musical mentor on this recording.
Alborán composed a total of 40 songs for his debut album, including ones from which the playlist would be based. Pablo Alboran, a studio musician who was captivated by his voice, posted a few songs on YouTube, catching the interest of several, including singer Kelly Rowland, who was stunned by his voice, as well as "I'm in love with Pablo Alboran." Since being viewed millions of times, his videos have soared.
In October 2010, "Solamente T" (Only You) was the first single of his debut album's first single, which was released in February 2011. Both the single and the album were huge success, with the Spanish music charts dominated for many weeks in a row. Multiple awards, including RTVE's Album of the Year in 2011, were given to the album, as it became Spain's best-selling album of the year.
Alborán's first world tour started in Madrid on May 27th, 2011 in Madrid, and he has since appeared in many Latin American countries, including Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. En Acético, his first live album, was released in November of the same year. It featured acoustic interpretations of the majority of the tracks on his debut album, as well as two new songs and four bonus tracks. The song "Perpetname" (Forgive Me) was re-released on November 20th, 2011 and debuting as the first single of the album on the Spanish singles chart, and helping En Acstico debut second on the charts for the first week in November 2011 and second on the Portuguese Albums Chart in January 2012.
Alborán received the 2011 Best New Act award in Los Premios 40 Principales on December 19th. Both his albums Pablo Alborán and En Acquittico were included in Spain's top-selling albums of 2011, at number 1 and 6, respectively, and the singles "Solamente T" and "Perdóname" were among the respective third and nineteenth best-selling songs in 2011.
Alborán joined "Cuestión de Prioridades por el Cuerno de frica" in January 2012 (A matter of priorities for the horn of Africa).
Alborán's lead single "Tanto" from his forthcoming album Tanto, which was released in November 2012, was released in September 2012. In Spain, the album was certified platinum and became Spain's highest-selling album in 2012. "El Beso" (The Kiss) and "Quién" (Who) were two top-one singles in Spain, with "El Beso" (The Kiss) and "Quién" (Who). The album has been nominated for Latin Grammy Awards.

Alborán revealed on his social media pages that he was finishing preparing what would be his fourth studio album, Prosecu. On the same day, he released two singles ("Saturno" and "No Vaya a Ser"). "Saturno" is a ballad, reminiscent of his debut as a performer, while "No Vaya a Ser" is a different style of electronics and African rhythms, which is reminiscent of his early days as a guitarist.
