Lil Suzy is known for her hits "Take Me in Your Arms" (known in Brazil as the Meller's little princess), "Promise Me" and "Can't Get You Out of My Mind" and is a singer and songwriter who was very influential in the freestyle in the early 1990s.

Lil Suzy was born in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on March 1, 1979. She began her singing cover songs in Manhattan Beach, California, where an agent discovered her at five years old. She then began performing for Thelma Houston and Village People as an opening act. Suzy, who was 8 years old at the time, received her first Fever Records contract and in 1988, she released her first single, "Randy."

She joined Warlock Records and released her first studio album Love Can't Wait, produced by Tony Garcia at age 12. "Take Me in Your Arms" became the first single from the album, peaking at No. 71. The Billboard Hot 100 is at 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1992, "Falling in Love," a new single, was released. She was voted Billboard magazine's Best New Dance Artist of the Year this year, making her the youngest artist ever to be honoured.

Back to Dance, her second album, was released in early 1994. Tony Garcia produced this album again. In late 1993, "Turn the Beat Around" was released as the album's sole single, but it was not very well-received. Lil Suzy left her name and became president of Empress Records due to the album's modest success.

Lil Suzy launched Life Goes On, her third album, a eurodance compilation, in April 1995. The album released four singles, the first of which being "Promise Me" which debuted at No. 1. The Billboard Hot 100 hits 62 places.

Lil Suzy's fourth studio album, Paradise, was released in 1997. The album produced four singles; Can't Get You Out of My Mind was the most popular of these launches. Crystal Waters, a singer, is collaborating on the album "Lost Love Letter." "Memories" is also included on the album, as well as a a cover.

Lil Suzy released The MegaMix, a collection of old hits and new remixes, in 1999.

She opened a beauty salon in Staten Island on October 2nd, 2000, which has since closed.

Lil Suzy launched The Greatest Hits, a collection of her greatest hits, in 2002. She and Collage recorded the song "Don't You Want Me" exclusively for the German market last year. The single is a recreation of The Human League's hit song.

Lil Suzy released the single "Dance Tonight" in 2009.
