Joshua Walter Kimmich (German pronunciation: [jozuna kmç]; born 8 February 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays either right-back for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. He is known for his complete playstyle, adaptability, rage, and playmaking abilities. He is often compared to former Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm and is regarded as his successor.
Kimmich started playing for the club's first team in 2013 after graduating from RB Leipzig's youth academy. He joined Bayern Munich two years ago. Club career

In Germany's final Group C match against Northern Ireland against Northern Ireland on June 21, Kimmich was selected to start for the team against Northern Ireland, replacing Benedikt Höwedes at right-back.
