Holger Felix Badstuber (born 13 March 1989) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre back for two versus 2.

Club career
Badstuber's youth program at Bayern Munich improved from 2002 to 2007. Before signing professional terms in July 2009, he was a member of Bayern's reserve team. In 23 appearances in the Regionalliga Süd between 2007-08 season and three goals in 32 appearances in the 3. During the 2008-2009 season, Liga was in play. It was his third match in the German jersey. On Sunday, Badstuber's group game against Serbia opened in Port Elizabeth against Serbia. He played for 77 minutes before being recalled for fellow Bayern teammate Mario Gómez. He was chastised for his appearance and dropped his leftback slot in the starting lineup to Jérôme Boateng for the remainder of the tournament, but the 1–0 loss to the Serbs was the only match in which Badstuber played and Germany lost.
Badstuber continued his success with consistency and established himself as a starting lineup defender in Löw's squad following the turbulent World Cup. He helped Germany win all ten matches of the team's qualification tournament for Euro 2012 to top group A by playing nine out of a possible ten matches, including qualification irrelevant – last match against Belgium. Badstuber scored his first goal, a 5-1 victory over Azerbaijan, despite a corner kick from Mesut zl during the campaign.
