HENRY CLARK AT SELHURST PARK: There was a small difference in Luton's favour when they were slipping toward a loss that would have widened the chasm between them and the majority of the pack in and around the relegation zone. It was Cauley Woodrow, who had to stoppage time, who saved the point for the visitors. The one that halted a string of three straight league defeats and showed that the fight for survival has just a few rounds to play.

After 71 minutes before Jordan Ayew's close-range finish, the Eagles took the lead thanks to Chris Richards' header. With 11 minutes remaining, Jean-Phillipe Mateta sealed the victory from the penalty spot.

When opposition players try to'smash' him as Arsenal star Daniel Emerson refuses to complain about defenders' care, Bukayo Saka says he takes it as a "compliment."

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 24, 2024
Bukayo Saka of Arsenal has declined to protest increasingly cruel treatment from defenders, insisting that it is a compliment. 'I've learned a lot over the last few seasons,' says the former footballer, and defenders have started to get more tackles and defenders are enjoying more kicking me.' I talked to a few defenders and now I understand it.' So when I see a defender attempting to smear me, it becomes very frustrating for me. I'm laughing or smiling because he doesn't get me.
