In two years, he scored more than 60 goals for the club at the youth level, earning him the nicknames of "The Rocket" and "Magic Odsonne."

Édouard was on both the U19 team and the CFA team during the 2015-16 season. He received the Titi d'Or in January 2016, an award that was voted for by the club's supporters for the best academy player for a particular season. In previous years, players such as Kingsley Coman and Jean-Kévin Augustin were among the winners of the award. PSG made it to the Youth League final, but Chelsea beat them 2–1. During the tournament, Édouard scored three goals and three assists.

He appeared in the 79th minute against Leicester and scored in his non-competitive debut, making it 4–0 in the club's last International Champions Cup game. PSG were crowned International Champions Cup champions as a result of the triumph.

Édouard joined Toulouse on a season-long loan on August 8, 2016. On August 14, 2016, he made his team debut against Marseille, losing Issiaga Sylla after 74 minutes in a 0–0 away draw. He was arrested by police and his loan was terminated by Toulouse prematurely. Édouard had made 17 appearances and scored one goal for the club at the time of his loan being canceled. Mathieu Cafaro, his coworker, had confessed to firing the bullet and was later discovered. Édouard agreed to a four-year contract with Celtic on June 15, the club's highest ever paid player. The bill would have to have surpassed the £6 million that the club paid for Chris Sutton and John Hartson in 2000 and 2001, respectively, with reports estimating it at over £8 million. He was named on the 100-man shortlist for the 2018 Golden Boy award in Scotland; he was the only footballer to be nominated for the honor. Édouard scored the opening goal in a 3–0 victory over Alashkert in the first qualifying round of the 2018–19 UEFA Champions League in his first game of the season. Celtic defeated Hearts twice in May 2019 to lift the Scottish Cup and a historic "treble treble," i.e. the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup, and the Scottish Cup in three years.

After scoring in the 7–0 victory over St Johnstone and 5–2 victory over Motherwell in September 2019, Édouard was named Scottish Premiership Player Of The Month for August 2019. He suffered from a minor injury in November and was branded a "niggle" by boss Neil Lennon, who later said that Édouard should be fit to play in the League Cup final. Celtic scored three goals in three league games, a goal against Kilmarnock, and a brace against Ross County to help Celtic extend their lead in the league and win the Scottish Premiership Player Of The Month award for January.

Édouard, the top goalcorer in the 2019-20 Scottish Premiership, had 22 goals, but it had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was named as the SFWA Footballer of the Year for 2019-20, the first French player to win the award and Celtic Player of the Year later this year.

Édouard was named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for February 2021, after scoring 7 goals in 7 league matches, including braces against St. Johnstone and Kilmarnock in March 2021. Despite Celtic's retirement from the 2020-2021 season trophyless, Édouard nevertheless received the top scorer award in the 2020-21 Scottish Premiership for the second year in a row and was named on the PFA team of the year. He had 42 goals in 40 games in all leagues this season. He left Celtic and joined Crystal Palace in August 2021. www.dailymail.co.uk, April 8, 2024
Welcome back to the Soul of Sport. ANDY HOOPER travelled to Selhurst Park to watch Manchester City beat Crystal Palace in a six-goal Premier League thriller in the latest episode of the series. After Kevin De Bruyne scored his 100th goal for the club and sparked the club's revival, the city resumed their title defense in imperious fashion in the capital. After Jean-Philippe Mateta fired into the far corner, Palace stunned the world leaders until De Bruyne bent home a brilliant attempt to bring City back to level. The Pep Guardiola's heavyweights then took over the game. Youngster Rico Lewis came into their lead and City was quickly calmed, with Erling Haaland converting a cross on 66 minutes. De Bruyne scored his second game of the season shortly after, but Odsonne Edouard's late goal gave up a tumultuous finish. With 24-70mm and 70-200 lenses, our cameraman caught the action.

Crystal Palace 2-4 Manchester City: Kevin De Bruyne's double powers Pep Guardiola's men level with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League as they come from behind to win

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 6, 2024
Manchester City kept up the pressure on their title rivals, with Kevin de Bruyne scoring his 100th goal for the club in their 4-2 victory over Crystal Palace. There were questions regarding whether or not the Belgian or Erling Haaland would be in the starting line-up for the lunchtime kick-off at Selhurst Park, where the hosts were fired in front three minutes after kick-off. De Bruyne drew the sides level moments later, and City took the lead for the first time less than two minutes after the restart was restarted by Rico Lewis' second Premier League goal before De Bruyne threw up Haaland for City's third. In the 70th minute, De Bruyne added another in a solo effort to make it a century of goals for City. Odsonne Edouard, a Palace replacement, fought one back.
