Early life
Jessica Lynn Sutta was born in Miami, Florida, to a Catholic and Jewish family of Irish, Russian, and Polish descent. She was enrolled in various dance lessons at the age of three and would later attend Miami City Ballet and the New World School of the Arts to expand her dance skills. Sutta ruptured her ACL on both knees and turned to stage when she was 17, wishing her dance career was over. Sutta perceived this as a career setback, as her aim was to travel to New York City and become a ballerina, but she saw it as a way to "begin" her journey into new forms of art. Sutta's knees were repaired and he joined NBA's cheerleading squad in 1999, becoming the captain in 2001. She got into acting during this time, appeared in the film Bully (2001), directed by Larry Clark, and the following year, she was cast as a series regular on Ocean Ave., in which she played Jody, a "pill-popping, out-of-control teen" of a wealthy family living in Miami.
Personal life
Sutta was struggling with alcoholism at the height of the Pussycat Dolls' fame. She said in 2017 that it would have ended her life. "I didn't know how harmful alcohol was." I was lost and broken, and it was like I had to get rid of the part of me and be reborn." Since entering a Beach House Rehab Center in Miami, Florida, she hasn't abstained from alcohol since 2016. Mikey Marquart and her drummer Mikey Marquart were visiting in December 2018 and became engaged. They married in Malibu on September 14, 2019. Antin came to Sutta and was invited to be a member of the burlesque troupe. She began performing with the Dolls at the end of the burlesque performance at The Viper Room. Antin formed an Interscope Geffen A&M Records' Jimmy Iovine during this period to help the Pussycat Dolls become a brand and establish a separate recording group.
