Career

In 2003, Jeong Yu-mi made her debut in a Lotte Xylitol chewing gum commercial. She became a household name when she portrayed a delicate girlfriend in A Thousand Days' Promise (2011) and a scheming secretary in Rooftop Prince (2012) after appearing in minor roles in several television series and films.

Jeong appeared in the Chinese film Nobleman's Path (2012), having appeared in the Chinese drama Five Star Hotel previously.

She was featured in the revenge manhwa-turned-TV series City Conquest, but the project was ultimately cancelled because it couldn't gain a timeslot. In lieu of that, Jeong appeared in the family drama Wonderful Mama (2013), her first leading role.

In September 2013, she joined We Got Married, a reality television show on which she was paired with singer Jung Joon-young. She appeared in "The Sense of an Ending" music video later this year. She appeared in her first big screen leading role in the horror film Tunnel 3D last year.

Jeong's next headline was the daily drama Mother's Garden (2014) and the period drama More Than a Maid (2015). She then played a supporting role in the historical drama Six Flying Dragons.

Jung was portrayed as the female protagonist in the revenge film The Master of Revenge in 2016. In 2017, she appeared in the weekend drama Bravo My Life.

In 2018, Jung appeared in Partner for Justice as a first prosecutor in the crime drama Partners for Justice. She appeared in the medical exorcism film Priest for the next four years.
