She rose to prominence in the historical coming-of-age drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010) and has since appeared in the television series City Hunter (2011), Glory Jane (2011), Dr.

A New Leaf (2014), Healer (2014-2015), Remember (2015-2016), What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018) and Her Private Life (2019).

Education

Park earned a degree in Theatre from Dongguk University in Seoul in February 2013.

Personal life

Park donated 100 million dollars to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association on March 7, 2022, to assist the victims of the massive wildfire in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, which has since spread to Samcheok, Gangwon.

Career

Park made her entertainment debut in a SK Telecom commercial in 2005. In the hit sitcom High Kick!, she began her acting career a year later. (2006). In an episode of horror-themed drama Hometown of Legends (2008), she played a villainous princess in Ja Myung Go (2009) and a girl caught between two marathon runners in Running, Gu (2010). She continued to appear in television dramas, including as the sole daughter of a notorious gangster in I Am Sam (2007) and a gumiho (nine-tailed fox in Korean mythology).

Park's breakthrough came with the 2010 drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal, a coming-of-age tale in which her protagonist, an intelligent and resourceful young woman, disguises herself as a child in order to gain admission to the country's most prestigious learning institution. City Hunter, based on the legendary Japanese manga, was followed by another success in 2011. Park starred opposite Lee Min-ho in a story about a fugitive seeking revenge and justice, as well as a sleuth of a mystery service agent who is looking for a mystery service agent. Park's success on the small screen resulted in increased advertising calls for the actress.

She made her big screen debut in The Cat, about a woman who becomes terrified after she adopts a cat that was discovered at the site of a mysterious murder. Park appeared in the melodrama Glory Jane as a nurse's aide who becomes involved with a former baseball player (played by Chun Jung-myung).

Park appeared in another manga screen adaptation in 2012, and Dr. Jin, a neurosurgeon (played by Song Seung-heon), transports back to 1860. In the present-day (a comatose doctor) and her doppelgänger in the Joseon period (a sheltered noblewoman), Park appeared in both roles.

Park Min Young resigned from the previous administration company King Kong Entertainment in May 2013 and spent six months as a freelance agent. Park was hired by the new management company Culture Depot in November 2013.

She then appeared as an idealistic intern in the legal drama A New Leaf (2014), where she clashes with her enigine but cynical lawyer boss until he becomes an amnesiac (played by Kim Myung-min). In Healer, a series written by Song Ji-na that also starred Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Ji-tae, there was followed by a stint as a tabloid reporter. Healer was a hit in China and has earned more love for Park.

Park next appeared in the Korean drama Remember on SBS from late 2015 to early 2016, and appeared as Queen for Seven Days, which aired in 2017. Park would be a definite cast member of Netflix's variety show Busted in September 2017. Park Min Young's employment with her company Culture Depot came to an end in November 2017. Park has worked with new management company Namoo Actors in December 2017.

Park was cast in her first romantic comedy drama in 2018 alongside Park Seo-joon and Secretary Kim. The series was a ratings hit, leading to increased interest for Park. Park's first fan meeting since her debut 12 years ago was named My Day in October.

Park appeared in her second romantic comedy drama Her Private Life with Kim Jae-wook in 2019. Park, a curator at an art museum, but she spends her free time as a passionate fangirl of idol groups.

She appeared in The Weather Is Fine, a JTBC romance film starring Seo Kang-joon, in 2020.

Park's deal with Namoo Actors came to an end on December 29, 2021, after she declined not to renew it. Park had signed with Hook Entertainment the day before.

Park appeared in the JTBC romance drama Forecasting Love and Weather starring Song Kang, a general forecaster at Korea Meteorological Administration.
