Jennie Jacques (born 28 February 1989) is an English actress.
Her first major role was as Annie Miller in Desperate Romantics (2009), a six-part BBC Two television drama serial about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood that was broadcast in July and August 2009.
From 2013–2014 she played the lead role of WPC Gina Dawson on the BBC television series WPC 56.
Since 2015 Jacques has played the recurring role of Saxon Queen Judith on the television series Vikings.
Early life
Jacques was born in Walsgrave Hospital and grew up in Coventry, Leamington Spa, and Warwick. She is the eldest of seven children.
Personal life
Jacques is an ambassador for the Open Medicine Foundation. In a 2021 interview with The Sunday Times, she opened up about the ME/CFS and post-exertional malaise she developed after coming down with a severe bout of Epstein–Barr virus in early 2019. She has also been an advocate for those living with epilepsy as inspired by her sister.

Career
In the BBC Two period drama Desperate Romantics (2009), Jacques played Katie Fielding in the ITV police series The Bill and artists' model Annie Miller. In the futuristic thriller Shank, she was cast as Beth in the home invasion urban drama Cherry Tree Lane and Ree Ree. In the episode "Nice and Easy Does It" broadcast on August 7, Jacques appears in Casualty on BBC1, where she played Lily Knowles, Megan Roach's carer.
Jacques appeared in the Mason single Boadicea's promotional video in 2011. She appeared in the slasher film Demons Never Die (2011), in which she appeared nude during a sex scene with Robert Sheehan. Jacques appeared in an episode of Father Brown in 2013 and was then cast as the lead actor in the BBC afternoon series WPC 56, about a female constable in the male-dominated world of 1956. Both programmes were produced by BBC Birmingham.
In the third and fourth seasons of Vikings (2014–2019), Jacques portrays Judith, King Ariel's fictional daughter. She appeared as Tash in the ITV sitcom The Delivery Man (2015), which aired for six episodes in 2015.
