Personal life
Hiten Tejwani was born into a Sindhi family.
On April 29, 2004, Hiten Tejwani married his Kutumb and Kyunki Kabhu Thi co-star Gauri Pradhan. On November 11, 2009, the couple became parents to twins, son Nevaan, and daughter Katya.
In an interview, he admitted that he had been married before but that he went through a painful divorce in 2001.
Career
Tejwani appeared in Ekta Kapoor's serial Ghar Ek Mandir, which was broadcast on Sony TV. This was followed by appearances in Kapoor's soaps Kabhii Sahelii, Kaahin Kissii Roz on Metro Gold, Kaahin Kissii Roz on Star Plus, and Kutumb on Sony TV with Gauri Pradhan. Kapoor appeared with Pradhan in Kutumb's second season, and Bhi Kabhu Thi's second season was the same couple, and she and Kapoor continued to perform together in her show Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi. When Kutumb's character, Karan Virani, appeared in Kapoor's film Kyunki Bahu Thi, he was given the role of Karan Virani. In 2009, he and his wife made a brief appearance in Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. Tejwani and his partner Gauri appeared in the second season of Nach Baliye 2 in 2006 and returned to host Season 4 in 2008.
In Kasautii Zindagii Kay, he played Anurag Basu, replacing Cezanne Khan in the role.
