Bhavya belongs to a Gujarati Jain family. He lives in Mumbai with his parents and elder brother. He has completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is Samay Shah's maternal cousin, who appeared on TV on Taarak Mehtah Chashmah. Yashoda Gandhi, a homemaker, was born in Bhavya Gandhi's name, and his father, Vinod Gandhi, was a businessman, and he also has an elder brother named Nichit Gandhi. His father died on May 2021 due to Covid-related illnesses.

Career

Gandhi appeared on the comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Tipendra Jethal Gada (commonly known as Tappu), his uncle of Jethalal and Daya. He left the show to pursue a film career, and the show's designers are not concerned with his appearance. Bhavya's role as Tapu made him a household name. In 2019, he appeared on the film Shaadi Ke Siyape, where he played Nanku.

In the 2010 Hindi language film Striker, Gandhi appeared in films for the first time. Aniket appeared in a short film Fidget Spinner as Aniket.

In 2017, Bhavya made his Gujarati film debut with Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaya. It starred Manoj Joshi, Ketki Dave, and Johny Lever and was a critical and commercial success.

In 2018, he appeared in a Gujarati drama film Baap Kamaal Dhamaal with Dharmesh Vyas, Ragi Jani, and Falguni Mistry. He appeared in Bau Na Vichar, a Gujarati film, which was a moderate success.
