Karan Soni (born January 8, 1989) is an Indian-born American actor.
His first major role came in the film Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), which was followed by lead roles on the series Betas (2013) and Other Space (2015).
He rose to fame as Dopinder in the film Deadpool (2016), a role he reprised in the film's 2018 sequel.
Soni has appeared in several films including Ghostbusters (2016), Office Christmas Party (2016), and Detective Pikachu (2019), as well as in the film Miracle Workers (2019–present).

Career
Soni appeared in Yusuf Sumer's 2010 comedy film Kaka Nirvana alongside Rachel Quinn. Soni appeared in the Amazon Studios original series Betas in 2013. After one season, the show was cancelled. Soni and Jim Conroy appeared in AT&T commercials in 2014.
