Gurmeet Choudhary (born 22 February 1984) is an Indian television actor, model, and dancer.

Early life and background
Gurmeet was born in Jairampur, Bihar, India,. At his hometown, the Gurmeet Choudhary Foundation opened a post-Covid specialized care center. In his hometown, his elder brother is a general surgeon.

Debina Bonnerjee was the bride of Choudhary's on February 15, 2011. They married again on October 4th, 2021. They had their first child, a girl, on April 4th, 2022.
Career
Gurmeets first came to fame as a result of his portrayal of Rama in the 2009 television series Ramayan, opposite Debina Bonnerjee, who played Sita. Choudhary appeared on Pati Patni Aur Woh with his then fiancée, Debina Bonnerjee, who also played Sita in Ramayan. He appeared in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, alongside Dr. Ashti Dhami, as a business magnate Maan Singh Khurana. He appeared in Punar Vivah as Yash Sindhia, alongside Kratika Sengar.
Gurmeet appeared in and won the fifth season of the famous dance competition Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia. He and his wife Debina Bonnerjee, his co-star from Ramayan, who died in 2011 as the first runner up, competed in the dance competition Nach Baliye 6 with his wife Debina Bonnerjee. Pratik Utekar had choreographed them. He appeared on an action reality television program Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 5) where he was named the first runner-up.
Gurmeet Choudhary's first foray into Bollywood film was in 2015 when he was cast as Jaidev in the psychological thriller Khamoshiyan, directed by Fox Studios India and Vishesh Films.
