Early life
Dalton graduated from Westmont High School in Campbell, California, where he became interested in acting after auditioning for a production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, where he was California Scholarship Federation president and associate student body president. In My Favorite Year, he was in charge. Dalton received a Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama in 2011 after attending University of California, Berkeley, for his undergraduate degree.
