Gionna Jene Daddio (born June 8, 1994) is an American professional wrestler.
She is signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Liv Morgan. In October 2014, she signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center and then-developmental brand NXT in Orlando, Florida.
Morgan was promoted to the main roster in 2017 and was paired with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan to form the stable the Riott Squad.
After the stable disbanded in 2019, Morgan became a singles competitor.
Early life
Gionna Jene Daddio was born in Morristown, New Jersey, on June 8, 1994. She was raised in nearby Elmwood Park, New Jersey. She has four older brothers and a sister; following the death of Daddio's father, her mother raised all six children as a single mother. Daddio is a longtime fan of professional wrestling, and would participate in backyard wrestling with her siblings. She has described the matches as core to start her foray into wrestling:

Personal life
In November 2020, Daddio confirmed in a screenshot on Twitter that she had taken up a course to become a real estate agent at the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate.
In February 2021, it was revealed that Daddio was in a relationship with fellow wrestler Bo Dallas, with the two living on a farm and starting a real estate business to prepare for life after professional wrestling.
Professional wrestling career
After being discovered at Joe DeFranco's gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Daddio signed a WWE deal in 2014, limiting her to NXT's geographic area, NXT. On February 11, 2015, she made her first television appearance at the NXT Takeover: Rival pay-per-view as a plant fan who jumped on Tyler Breeze during his entrance. On May 20, she appeared in NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable as part of Breeze's entry. Marley appeared under the ring name Marley for a brief period of time in October 2015, where she appeared on NXT's November 4 episode, where she worked as a jobber and lost to Eva Marie.
Daddio made her return to NXT on December 2nd under the new ring name Liv Morgan, losing to Emma. Morgan competed in a national competition on January 13, 2016, defeating Carmella to determine the number one contender to Bayley's NXT Women's Championship. Morgan won her first televised singles match on Aug. 31 defeating Aliyah. She and The Iconic Duo (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce), among other women battling her after their match resulted in a match between Morgan and Kay which Kay won after interference by Royce. On the November 16 episode of NXT, she competed against Royce, resulting in a disqualification after Kay interfered in the match, attacking Morgan and Aliyah until Ember Moon made the save. On the November 23 episode of NXT, the threesome competed in a six-person tag team match against Kay, Royce, and Daria Berenato, with Morgan's side coming out victorious.
Morgan made her main roster debut on November 21, 2017 with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan, criticizing both Becky Lynch and Naomi Logan as heels in the process. They interrupted a match between SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and Natalya on the same night and then proceeded to assault both of them. The trio, now known as "The Riott Squad," made their in-ring debuts for the brand this week, defeating Flair, Naomi, and Natalya in a six-woman tag team match the following week. Morgan was the eleventh entrant in the first women's Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 28, 2018, but was eventually dismissed by Michelle McCool. Morgan made her WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 34 on April 8 by competing in the 20-woman WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal, but she didn't win the competition.
The Riott Squad was introduced to Raw brand as part of the 2018 Superstar Shake-Up, and the match between Bayley and Sasha Banks was ended in a no contest on April 16. On October 28, the Riott Squad lost to Natalya, Bayley, and Sasha Banks at the inaugural all-women's pay-per-view Evolution. Morgan was involved in the women's Royal Rumble match on January 27, 2019, but only to be eliminated after 8 seconds, the first time in the women's Royal Rumble match. Morgan and Logan were defeated by Nia Jax and Tamina in a six-team Elimination Chamber match for the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at the namesake pay-per-view on February 17. Morgan defeated WrestleMania 35 in a women's crown match that was eventually won by Carmella.
Morgan was moved to the SmackDown brand as part of the Superstar Shake-Up on April 16, effectively ending The Riott Squad in the process. Morgan turned face on the SmackDown Live episode on July 16 as she confronted Charlotte Flair and faced her in a match in which Morgan lost by submission.
Morgan was the final overall pick of the year's draft on October 14, being drafted back to the Raw brand on the October 14 episode. vignettes aired throughout the month of December, promoting Morgan's return. Morgan appeared on television on December 30th, at Bobby Lashley and Lana's wedding reception, interrupting the proceedings and professing her love for Lana. Lana's mother stabbed Lana and Lashley, causing Rusev to join her with Rusev, who had been feuding with Lana and Lashley, thus solidifying her face turn. Morgan defeated Lana on January 27, 2020, a new tradition in Raw, where the following week, she will reprise it. Morgan engaged in a feud with her former Riott Squad colleague Ruby Riott, who turned on her after returning from a feud with Lana. Morgan defeated Riott with Sarah Logan as the special guest referee on Raw's March 2 episode. Morgan appeared in Elimination Chamber on March 8, her second Elimination chamber match, in which she was eliminated by eventual champion Shayna Baszler. Morgan defeated Natalya on the WrestleMania 36 pre-show on April 5, defeating Natalya. Morgan fought Riott on WrestleMania and defeated her on Raw's April 20 and 27 episodes respectively.
Ruby Riott tried to console Morgan after she lost to Natalya on Raw's June 22 episode, which she refused. Riott begged Morgan to assist her in rebuilding the Riott Squad on August 3rd, only to be interrupted by The IIconics, who ridiculed the two; Morgan and Riott defeated The IIconics in a tag team match. Morgan and Riott (now known as The Riott Squad) defeated The IIconics and Once More on Raw on August 30, causing The IIconics to disband per stipulation.
Morgan and Riott were invited to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2020 Draft in October. She won a thrilling four-way match on her first night on SmackDown after the Draft made her qualify for the women's team at Survivor Series on November 22, in which she and her brand partners lost. On the first night of WrestleMania 37, they registered for a chance at the Women's Tag Team Championship, but they were unable to win the competition. Riott was announced by WWE on June 2, 2021, effectively disbanding The Riott Squad for the second time.
Morgan competed in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the eponymous event on July 18, but failed to win the competition. Morgan defeated Carmella in the pre-show at Extreme Rules on September 26, beating them in the extreme genre.
Morgan was drafted to the Raw brand as part of the 2021 Draft. Morgan qualified for the Queen's Crown Tournament in October, defeating Carmella in the first round. Morgan won a match on November 8 of Raw, giving him a shot at the Raw Women's Championship, which was hosted by Becky Lynch. Morgan appeared in championship match against Lynch on the December 6 episode of Raw, but she lost. Morgan failed to win the title in a rematch on Day 1 on January 1, 2022. On January 19, she competed in the Royal Rumble match at the namesake festival, but Brie Bella took the top position, but Brie Bella took her down by Brie Bella. Morgan appeared at Elimination Chamber in WrestleMania 38, defeating Doudrop but being disqualified by Alexa Bliss. Morgan joined Rhea Ripley in a fatal four-way tag team match on the second night of WrestleMania 38, a losing effort. They met new champions Sasha Banks and Naomi for the titles on April 18, but they lost, and Ripley would threaten Morgan, ending their match. Morgan, AJ Styles, and Finn Bálor lost in a six-person mixed tag team match at Hell in a Cell on June 5.
Morgan and Alexa Bliss defeated Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. on the June 13 episode of Raw. To qualify for the women's Money in the Bank ladder competition, one must qualify. Morgan earned the Money in the Bank contract on July 2, giving her a women's championship match at any time of her choice. Following the SmackDown Women's Championship match between Natalya and Ronda Rousey, Morgan won the title, making her third woman and fifth celebrity to successfully cash-in the Money in the Bank contract the same night after winning it. Morgan and Rousey were due to face each other in SummerSlam on July 30, where Morgan flocked out Rousey's armbar, but Morgan had to counted Rousey's shoulders down, giving Morgan the pinfall victory. Both Morgan and the referee were struck by Rousey after the match. Morgan retained the title against Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle on September 3. On the September 9 episode of SmackDown, Rousey defeated Morgan in a tense five-way elimination match, earning a rematch against Morgan at Extreme Rules. Morgan challenged Rousey to an Extreme Rules match for the title, which Rousey accepted. Morgan lost the SmackDown Women's Championship in Rousey on October 8, bringing an end to her reign of 98 days. Liv smiled as she was disqualified in her match against Rousey. Following the match, she was discovered backstage in, what WWE terms, a shadowy setting hinting at a potential darker facet of her character going forward.
