www.dailymail.co.uk, December 23, 2022
Pablo Mari returned to action for Monza on Thursday night, just two months after being stabbed during an attack in a Milan supermarket. Mari, who joined Monza on a season-long loan from Arsenal in the summer, was one of six people stabbed at a shopping center in the Italian capital back in October. Following the attack, the Spaniard was admitted to the hospital, where he was told he was 'luck' to avoid life-threatening injuries when he underwent surgery.

Alvise Cagnazzo of Sportsmail takes a look at ten things we learned from this weekend's participation in Serie A.

There was plenty to take away from the first 90 minutes of the campaign, including AC Milan's counting on Ante Rebic (inset), Romelu Lukaku (right) getting off the mark early, and Roma's Jose Mourinho (left) proving Roma's title credentials already.
