Personal life
Dill was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, and he grew up. He was the lead singer of The Click Five, the pop-rock band. In February 2007, just after filming the movie Taking Five with the band, Click Five left to concentrate on his solo music career. He wrote "No Surprise" in early 2007, a song that became the first single on Daughtry's second album, Leave This Town. Eric Dill moved from Hollywood to Indianapolis, Indiana, in late 2012.
