Elçin Sangu (born 13 August 1985) is a Turkish actress and model of Circassian descent.
With her appearances on television ads and advertisements, she has earned a reputation as one of Turkey's highest paid celebrities. Defne is best known for her role in the Star TV romantic comedy series Kiralik Ask (2015–2017).

Life and career
Elçin Sangu was born on August 13th, 1985, as the only child of an ethnic Circassian family from zmir, Turkey's Western coast. She graduated from Mersin University's Opera Department and studied acting at the Sahne Tozu Theatre.
She appeared in Kanal D drama series 'Yle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, where she also performed and played piano. She appeared in Nehir in Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer between 2012 and 2013. She appeared in Bir Aşk Hik hikhye, an homage to the South Korean television series I'm Sorry, I Love You, from 2013 to 2014. Kurt Seyit ve ura filmed in Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine in 2014. She began acting in Kiral, Turkey, the same year as her previous leading role in the 2015 aTV series Sevdam Alabora. She and Boyner debuted in 2016 as the face of Sunsilk care and Boyner.
