James Tarkowski jokes Sean Dyche's tracksuit brought Everton 'a little bit of luck'... after manager ditched his usual suit and tie for Nottingham Forest game

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 21, 2024
James Tarkowski joked that Sean Dyche's new tracksuit had brought Everton 'a little bit of luck' for their game against Nottingham Forest. Dyche ditched his usual suit for new threads at the crucial relegation clash, and the Toffees won 2-0, in a match dogged by controversial calls which left the visitors fuming.  Speaking after the victory, centre-back Tarkowski spoke about the fashion choice from his Everton manager - whilst Dwight McNeil chuckled besides him.

Gary Neville hits out at 'horrendous' Nottingham Forest statement slamming decisions during 2-0 loss at Everton and says it 'lets the proud history of the club down' after claiming VAR was a Luton fan

Gary Neville has criticised the 'horrendous statement' issued by Nottingham Forest following their 2-0 defeat by Everton. Forest were hugely frustrated with some of the decisions that went against them and claimed that VAR official Stuart Attwell is a Luton Town fan. Following the defeat to Everton, Forest remain 17th in the table, one place and one point ahead of Luton. Everton prevailed courtesy of goals from Idrissa Gueye and Dwight McNeil.

Everton 2-0 Nottingham Forest: Toffees respond to Sean Dyche's empassioned midweek rant - as Idrissa Gueye and Dwight McNeil both score from long-range to seal vital win in the relegation scrap

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 21, 2024
Idrissa Gueye and Dwight McNeil helped Everton seal a 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest at Goodison Park, which could have some serious implications in this season's relegation fight.  The victory, Everton's second in their last 16 matches, puts the hosts four points clear of Nottingham Forest at the bottom of the table, and five clear of Luton at the top rung of the drop zone.  It also came after Sean Dyche delivered an empassioned rant to his players this week, claiming that he would 'not be their fall guy'.
