Early life
Shin Dong-woo was born in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, South Korea, on June 16, 1991. He attended Bongmyung High School. He formed a rock band with his buddy Jooyoung in his adolescence. He later studied at Hanyang University in the Department of Theater and Film.
Career
On April 15, 2011, CNU was revealed as a member of idol quintet B1A4, where he performed as a singer and rapper. The group debuted six days later with their debut mini album Let's Fly and lead single "OK." CNU has appeared on four studio albums and six EPs since then.
The CNU's solo fan meeting, '2022 B1A4 BANA - HAPPY CNU DAY' will be held on June 12, 2022, CNU's agency reported in May 2022.
