Career

Domo Genesis joined Odd Future in mid-2009 because he was one of Tyler, the Creator's close friends. Rolling Papers, his debut mixtape, was announced on August 30, 2010. Tyler, the maker of Left Brain, and Syd tha Kyd were largely responsible for the production.

On September 20, 2011, his second mixtape, Under the Influence, was released. Many regarded this second installment as a major improvement over his first, noting that "it's laser-focused and rarely lacking in style" — or yes, SWAG. Domo unveiled a track named "Ground Up" on February 9, 2012. Domo OG, Domo Genesis, was announced on February 22, 2012.

Domo Genesis made his television debut in the tenth episode of Odd Future's Loiter Squad as Young Gunshot, his gangsta rap alter ego. On July 31, 2012, Domo Genesis and Alchemist's joint mixtape, No Idols, was available for free download. Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, and Action Bronson appeared on "Elimination Chamber," the first official single released on July 16, 2012.

On September 4, 2013, Domo performed the song "Rusty" off Tyler, The Creator's second studio album, "Wolfe", alongside fellow Odd Future members Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. Domo MellowHigh, his MellowHigh tribute album with MellowHype, was released on October 31, 2013. The album debuted at number 89 on the US Billboard 200, at number 89.

Domo Genesis revealed on November 13, 2013 that he was working on a new mixtape Under the Influence 2 and his debut studio album. Genesis revealed on April 3, 2014, that he intends to start both programs before the end of 2014. On Twitter, he speculated that Under the Influence 2 would be published on November 5, 2014.

On January 4, 2016, Domo released the song "KWYM" (Keep Working Young Man) (Keep Working Young Man) on SoundCloud. This was followed by Domo's debut album, Genesis, in March 2016, with the Anderson.Paak-assisted lead single "Dapper" being announced weeks before. Domo rode on the 2016 Chore Tour from May 29 to July 24, 2016, in support of his album's debut.

Domo released the mixtape Red Corolla on June 16, 2017, which featured guest appearances from King Chip and Styles P.

Domo unveiled the mixtape Aren't You Glad You're U? SoundCloud can be used to create playlists. The mixtape was solely produced by rapper/producer Evidence, with rapper/producer Evidence's Elliott Smith on the front page. On the same day, the official Odd Future YouTube channel for the song "Me vs. Me" was posted.

Domo unveiled the EP Facade Records, which was executive produced by production pair Mike & Keys, with highlights from Buddy, IDK, King Chip (under his previous name Chip tha Ripper) and Cozz later this year. In 2020, Domo and Mike & Keys will form a supergroup, with two EPs released both in Case and Only in Case 2.

Domo appeared on Tyler, the Creator's sixth album, "Manifesto" in 2021.

Domo Unos, Outros & Interludes, a evidence-based project, was unveiled on July 29, 2022. Guests from Navy Blue, Remy Banks, Evidence, and Boldy James were included in the mixtape.
