In "Across the Spider-Verse," the Best Celebrity Cameos You May Have Missed

www.popsugar.co.uk, June 9, 2023
Oscar Isaac is a cartoonist who refers to him as Spider-Man 2099 from Earth-928. Miguel, the designer of the inter-dimensional Spider-Gang, is in charge of the Super-Collider, a particle accelerator designed to bridge the measurement gap. Miguel has a short history that has left him both physically and emotionally resentful. He plays a major antagonist in the film in addition to heading the superhero multiverse. In an interview with Rolling Stone, producers Philip Lord and Chris Miller revealed that Isaac only agreed to voice Miguel on the condition that they did not make his character boring. They were inspired by Isaac's real-life experiences in an effort to flesh out his backstory.

During a rare CinemaCon appearance, Rihanna Reveals She is Smurfette's New Voice

www.popsugar.co.uk, April 28, 2023
Rihanna is lending her voice to a new cause, but it is not the first album fans have been waiting for since 2016. The "Live Me Up" singer made a surprise appearance at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where she revealed that she would be playing Smurfette in the forthcoming Smurfs musical film. According to Entertainment Weekly, Rihanna stars in addition to voicing the animated character, as a writer and producer. Notably, the Paramount adaptation would follow a separate storyline from Sony's three-part film, which starred Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Sofa Vergara, and Hank Azaria. Original songs by Rihanna will also be included in the forthcoming musical. It's not the album we've been waiting for, but new music is definitely different.
