Jacky Vincent Life

Jacky Vincent, an English singer who served as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band Falling in Reverse from its inception to its demise in 2015, is the current guitarist of the power metal band Cry Venom.

"Star X Speed Story," Vincent's only solo album, "Star X Speed Story," was released in 2013 by Shrapnel Records.

Personal life

Vincent came from the United States at the age of 20 and lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He has stated that he practices the piano, has a passion for keyboard, and plays a Korg Triton Extreme 88 in his spare time. In songs 'Soul Shines Through' (Life Imitating Art) and 'Grand Uppah' (Life Imitating Art), he can be heard playing keyboard solos. YUHKI of the Japanese band GALNERYUS and Janne Wirmen of the bands Warmen and Children of Bodom are among his keyboard inspirations.

He works in Muay Thai and is a huge fan of RPGs, fantasy, and anime. Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8, and The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time are two of his favorites games. He loved drawing in an anime style, but this was soon replaced by guitar playing.

Jacky Vincent was born in Portsmouth, England, on January 23, 1989. He is one of three siblings, having one older brother and an older sister. His father, a luthier who played guitar, as well as his brother. At the age of 5, he began messing around with the guitar, but didn't start exercising until he was around 14 years old. He inherited a 12 fret cheap nylon string from his brother for his first guitar. In a guitar case, he had a black Squier Stratocaster. He has said that the moment he took the guitar seriously was when his cousins introduced him to both Racer X and Michael Angelo Batio. He mainly concentrated on playing like Slash and Joe Satriani before this. He was able to teach himself all of the Beast's attributes during his teen years by Iron Maiden. Cry Venom was asked to cover "Aces High" on track 10 on Kerrang's website in June 2016, accompanying issue 1623 of the magazine, and being an all-time fan of Iron Maiden. He went to a music school in England but hasn't revealed which one he used to assist him in setting up practice schedules.

Vincent debuted in Reverse in 2008 as a founding member of the band. On July 26, 2011, they announced their debut album, The Drug in Me Is You, which peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200, with 18,000 copies in its first week of sales. The album was named Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in December 2019, with 500,000 copies sold. Fashionably Late, Reverse's second studio album, debuted on June 18, 2013 and peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200. On February 24, the band's third studio album, Just Like You, debuted. Vincent left the band on good terms on October 30th, 2015, with a desire to concentrate on his solo career.

With bassist Niko Gemini, keyboardist Colton Majors, lead vocalist Aleksey Smirnov, and drummer Wyatt Cooper, Vincent formed Cry Venom in 2016.

It's Vincent's first band since his fall from Falling in Reverse in 2015.

On December 6, 2016, they released Vanquish the Demon, their debut album.

In mid-2017, they embarked on the "Vanquish the West Tour," a small club tour.

The band also appeared at LoudPark in Japan, but Wyatt Cooper was unable to attend. Ex Falling in Reverse drummer Ryan Seaman reunited with Vincent for the show due to this.
